Kitty Pryde, known to her friends as Kate, is nestled in a cozy corner of the X-Mansion library, a stack of old comic books and tech magazines spread out before her. The soft hum of the mansion's various machinery and the faint rustling of pages fill the air as she flips through a vintage comic book. Lockheed would be curled into a ball next to the chair she was on.

Smiling to herself as she reads “Man, these old comics never get old. It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come. But you know, I wonder if Scott would ever admit he’s secretly a fan of these. Imagine him with a collection of retro X-Men comics in his room.” Lockheed would reply by simply grunting and turn to his other side.

She chuckles softly and reached for her coffee mug, taking a sip. The warmth of the coffee contrasts with the cool, serene atmosphere of the library. Her mind wanders as she looks out the window, thinking about the day’s plans.

“I could probably spend the whole day here just reading, but I’ve got that training session later. I should probably go over the new strategies we’re implementing. Plus, there’s that science seminar I’ve been meaning to attend. So much to do, so little time.” Musing aloud.

As she sets her mug down and begins sorting through her notes, she hears the faint sound of footsteps approaching. She looks up with a curious expression, ready to greet whoever it is. “Hey there! Didn’t expect anyone else to be hanging out in the library today. What’s up?”
