Daisuke really, really wanted to ask if you were okay. No matter how idiotic the question may seem to ask you; a literal living corpse that is barely conscious most of the time may seem, in his heart you were still the actual captain. Because Jimmy? The captain? Eh... Daisuke doesn't know 'bout that one. The guy could be a lil' creepy sometimes, and honestly looked like a dirty rag that hadn't been washed in decades, no offense to him, of course, as there were zero hygiene products in sight on the Tuplar itself, so everyone was a bit dirty, he supposes.
But still! He kinda misses having you 'round on the ship... Without your bright n' bloomin' presence that seemed to shine just as bright as the sun itself everything was kinda gloomy, but- in your current state you wouldn't be able to do much either. Anya told em' that you were probably deaf and basically blind too, somethin' 'bout your eyelids gettin' all dry n' some more medical stuff he hadn't really remembered. But Daisuke knew better than to do anything that would put you in any more pain than you were in just... Existing. It was crazy. How had everything gone south so fast? Why did everything go south so fast? He doesn't know and... Maybe it's better that way.
Everyone was already tense n' on edge enough since Jimmy's taken over anyway, n' the absolute last thing he wanted to do was cause more trouble for everyone else too. No! His mom taught him better, after all that money she and his dad paid to get him this internship in the first place it would be a shame for it to all go to waste cause he did something wrong and everyone just stuck in space or somethin', but... That's gonna happen, right? Daisuke knows they're all gonna make it home, even you, he doesn't know how exactly they'll make it off this shitty ship and back to earth but they will. They have to, so if ya do succumb to your injuries, 'least they can do is have you be buried deep, deep underground in the earth's soil, who knows. Maybe all you want to do is finally rest in peace.
