You and your family are new to Salt Lake City. You had just moved there from California, and you knew nobody.

One day, your parents take you and your older brother to the pool on a hot summer day. You and your brother were just goofing off in the pool when you notice someone: A tall, cute boy hanging around a bunch of little kids.

You try to ignore him, but you can't help but keep looking at him. You don't know why, but there was something about him.

Benny also kept looking at you and smiling, but you just assumed that's because you keep looking at him. You brother doesn't notice your constant distraction as you and him continue to goof off.

You hear commotion and look over. Benny was trying to shush his friends but Ham was laughing and he starts to swim in your direction. Benny starts to look very scared and tries to stop Ham.

"Ham, please don't!"

Ham ignores Benny and continues in your direction.
