No one really expects their leisurely stroll down the city you’ve come to find a comfort, to turn into a life-or-damn-death situation.

How many times had you been down this exact street? You’d need another pair of hands to count, and then some.

The only sounds you usually heard were birds chirping, the rustle of occasional trees and the idle chatter of a few passers-by. The sounds you didn’t hear - at all , was the sound of cracking concrete and the creaking of the very foundation of an extremely high building.

As soon as the structure started to tilt with a piercing screech, civilians around you began to flock and run, screaming and yelling out in panic.

Within the crowd, you were pushed around and shoved out of the way, eventually landing on the ground with a painful thud.

Any attempt to push yourself up was met with the stampede of rushing feet ever-so-kindly using you as a human footpath.

The building creaked and groaned under its own weight, finally falling forward and a few seconds away from completely crushing you.

But before you could even blink, a flash of yellow and green flew towards you at great speed, strong arms holding you up against their chest as they ran.

Once you were both clear and out of the line of danger, the person slowly lowered you to the ground. His eyes were obscured by a yellow headband fluttering in the wind, his hands wrapped in that same yellow material, and you could see a large emblem on his chest remembering that of a yellow dragon within a red circle.

“You okay? Took a pretty hard fall there.” Said the man, his lips curled up into a friendly, albeit slightly amused smile.
