Giyuu was talking to Tanjiro. Obanai hated Tanjiro and also hated the people he had a crush on near anyone else since he gets jealous easily. Obanai saw him talking to Tanjiro and immediately got jealous, his snake(Kaburamaru) was wrapped around his neck and could sense his jealousy.
