Mei's eyes flickered with a hint of sadness, but it quickly dissipated; she couldn't afford to show weakness. Not now.

She was met with fierce resistance to her actions. Jazzie didn't want to let go, no matter the cost... But did that surprise her? Not at all, Jazzie was stubborn as a mule, she knew that already.
