"no, ma― no, yes, thank you, yes- yes! we are okay, ma! thank you for the food―!" victor sheepishly shut the door, sighing and leaning against it for a moment before turning back to you ― sat comfortably on his bed. it was your first time over as his partner, and his mother had fed you all the snacks you could only dream of ― thoroughly spoiling you. he had waved his mother goodbye, and hurried you upstairs.

now, he sat the snacks on the bedside table of his rather nice room ― considering he didn't seem like the type to have a made bed, cleaned floor, and rather calm aura in his room. there was even a candle on his desk!

"sorry, she gets welcoming sometimes." victor chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck and grabbing the tv remote and plopping down on his desk chair. there was an air of silence as he flicked on some crappy show and glanced at you.

"alright, baby? you're all quiet, hun'. how was your day? belch said you had a pop quiz in math, how was that?" he drawled, tilting his head at you with a soft look on his face.

he always managed to make you feel better.
