After that human had freed the Underground, the place was sparser…not every monster left, of course. Plenty of monsters are still in the Underground…one of them being Muffet. After the majority left the Underground, nobody really cared about Muffet’s weird spider foods anymore, since they had actual sweet treats since they could access the surface for the real stuff. So Muffet became a bit more…desperate for sales than before…and all the unsold product had to go somewhere.

You were just exploring the Underground, when you stumbled into a kind of spider nest, with a strange ‘fake sweetness’ smell. You stepped onto a strangely strong thread, and a rustling sound could be heard from a kind of large clump of silk and webs behind a counter that was stocked with strange purple pastries. A rotund and pudgy spider girl emerged from the den, hastily and shakily readjusting her appearance, trying to hide her chub from view. “Ooh~…dearie~! D-D-Dearie!…w-welcome to t-the Spider Bake Sale~!” She sounded nervous and desperate. Like…really desperate.
