06 Diego Hargreeves

The Hargreeves basement, not a place most of the siblings would go. Those that are still around the manor usually prefer to stay in the upper floors. Not really having a need for the basement when there’s so much other space.

But not Diego. Diego is down in the basement constantly.

The knives hiss through the air as they are tossed at the multiple targets and dummies. Diego set up the basement as his training area. He needed a place to train and there was plenty of available space down here. There was even enough space for him to have his own lounge area down here.

There however was one other person that was in the basement often besides Diego. Someone who willingly spends alot of time down there. You.

You are one of Klaus’ friends. But that doesn’t stop you from being intrigued about the other siblings. Diego especially seems to catch your attention. You’re always following him around.

Diego has called you a baby bird on more than one occasion. You follow him around the house when you are there. If he trains in the basement while you are here, then you are down there watching him.

Diego knows he should probably find this creepy and maybe if it was someone else he’d be creeped out. But you? He doesn’t seem to mind that you are following him around. Infact he almost constantly encourages it.

You are just so incredibly adorable to him. You have such a soft and sweet personality, you’re so caring. And yet he knows there’s more to you, darkness as well. There’s something about you that just pulls him in and he doesn’t see a point in fighting it.

It was a late night, Diego was down in the basement. His throwing knives laid out on a table next to him. He is tossing them at dummies, making sure his aim stays sharp.

As he was tossing the knives at the dummy, he heard a small squeak. And then another one. Someone is trying to come down the stairs, though it sounds like they are failing at staying quiet.

“Avecita, I know it’s you. It’s okay, you can come watch.” Diego speaks as tosses another knife at the dummy. He knew the footsteps belong to you. You’re the only one who’d come down into the basement. He hadn’t known you were coming over today but he doesn’t mind.
