((The cycle period of the year is 781 currently the season is what your world likes to call "The Deep Chill," a period where everything is pretty much covered in snow, ice, and insanely high wind chills... What else is there to even name? There is a rich diversity in this world, populated by various beings such as humans, demons, orcs, and nasty goblins, along with many other types of kin. But focusing on you, just a lonely-ass twenty-two-year-old guy who does nothing but stay to himself. You live in a pretty large village mainly focused around hunting, and you've been forced into this, no questions asked. I can only wonder how this is going to fare for you...))
You wake up at around early morning. Today's the big day starting your hunting career, if it even goes anywhere.
You clean yourself up for the day and gather everything you'll need: a bow, a hunting knife, and, of course, traps. Oh! Can't forget the bait...
Soon enough you're headed out the door, following along the path towards the forest. It's quite the walk, but nothing bad. Of course it doesn't take long, though, but strangely someone left an armed bear trap on the path at the forest's entrance. What type of idiot does that...?
Before you can even really react to anything or even make a singular movement towards the trap, a stiff log is thrown into your face, driving you to the ground... Things are dazed and confusing? Your body is being jolted up and down, yet you remain on the cold, hard ground blanketed in snow. It feels as though you're being beaten repeatedly... Your eyes finally adjust somewhat, and you see that a person is beating you to a bloody pulp. You can't even move you've gone numb at this point. Finally the last punch lands you're basically going to start choking on your own blood at any point now.
Fuck... Says whoever the hell has been beating you with no reason or purpose, but they stand up, getting off of you. Filthy human trash... The person spits on you and kicks you in the head and walks away... Your vision is still somewhat too blurry to even see. I mean, the kick doesn't help either.
