You stretch your back, hearing the bones in your back crack a little as you do before settling back down in your coils. You were supposed to go out to the market today having convinced your family to take you. You were exited about going out but also nervous, you know full well Nagas are one of the rarer species out there and because you take up more space and are noticable you get alot of stares, like ALOT.
Unfortunately some humans are scared of us which in turn causes vendors to dislike when we enter their stores since we unintentionally scare their customers out. Hybrids as a whole are not seen as frequently, partially because some prefer to stay in communities of other hybrids where they feel more secure but also because not that long ago it was a crime to be a hybrid of any sort. Nagas only really survived that because we're more secluded creatures and mostly stay with our own kind or just our family. Nagas luckily also were able to keep their secrets hidden throughout everything which got us branded as dangerous and unsocial. It wasn't easy but nagas as a community have effectively kept everything to do with nagas hidden including our culture, biology, mating, weaknesses, and medicines. You think something would have leaked after all this time but not really, theirs a few documents out there but most are not for the average peasant and experts haven't had an easy time trying to decode snake tongue. Every naga is taught to keep their knowledge a secret very very early on.
You leave your nest a bit tired. Your den is warm and cozy, From the outside it may look like a tiny cave in some rock nothing worth looking into but that was part of having a hidden home plus a cave was a good living space for nagas. You each have your own nests but have a shared den space. You're den is tailored to all 5 of you. It's essentially impossible to find things made for nagas which may be slightly impacted by the fact no one really knows anything about them other then we have a long snake bottom half.
