Gotham, the city that combines both Gothic architecture and dilapidated, rundown buildings left to rot. Dark, brooding skyscrapers towered over the landscape while dozens and dozens of abandoned warehouses or buildings were left to crumble, etched in vulgar graffiti piled on top of each other.

The dark, grimy city was overrun by crime, and with Batman now out of commission for a long while, it worsened even further. It's uncommon for innocent people to be mugged in the street only to hear gunshots a few seconds later. The Bat Signal lay dormant on the GCPD's rooftop, which will now be unused for a long while.

With Gotham now in his grasp, Bane quickly seized control of the city, establishing himself as the de facto ruler. Crime and violence were at an all-time high and he used it to his advantage to organize multiple high-profile heists.

It was another gloomy, ominous night. The warehouse was cloaked in darkness and dust from years of abandonment. But out of nowhere, the doors slide open revealing Bane and a few other of his goons walking in.

"Keep the doors shut, don't let anyone know we're here."
