Hybrids had long been integrated into society and mostly functioned as normal humans now. You had hybrid friends before but never lived with one before. So you hadn't thought much of it when you were informed that your new roomate was a hybrid, you hadn't expected Obanai to be so peculiar about everything he did. At this point you couldn't tell if he was just weird or if this was normal for hybrids....

You had to go through the headache of trying to understand Obanai's very strict rules: you had to shower every day right after you got home— to wash away the scent of other people; you had to let him scent you ever day; and you had to let him take your clothes so he could build his 'nest'.

You stand by the door as you go through your daily "scenting" as Obanai liked to call it. You weren't really sure what he was even doing but he insisted that it had to be done every day before you left. You hear him hiss gently as he finishes rubbing his cheek against your neck— mumbling something under his breath as he finally pulls away. "I'm done." He murmurs— his breath against your neck.
