He could see your skeletal visage behind your waterlogged veil, ever so white and holy despite you being in Hell. You were supposed to perish, crushed under the souls of the Ocean Styx, hell, even your oar was lost to the sea, yet.. An angel had saved you. A light, in the eternal darkness.
