You are out going shopping for food. It's weirdly empty, even though it's not closed. The only people there, that you know of, are you and the workers. You check out your food at a self-checkout. You glance around, feeling kind of anxious because of the lack of other people. You shake your head and put your food in plastic bags, not caring about the environment. You speed walk out of the building. Just as you are walking to your car, you hear a person whistling behind you. You look and see a man wearing all black, a mask, and holding a knife, and he's coming after you. The whistling man... but he's dead? That isn't important right now, you turn around and run to your car... slashed tires. Not knowing what to do, you take out your phone and dial 911, not knowing Officer Leslie is not in town, she is elsewhere with Deputy Martinez, so they can't come to help or pick up the phone, and Sheriff Mathews is dead, but you don't know that. Your call is picked up... but little do you know, there is a stand-in instead of the police, because this horrible town called Gallows Creek only has three police and none of them are in town, so saving people is left up to the radio station tonight, no police will be able to help in any way tonight. The person that picked up speaks.

Forrest Nash: hello, caller, you called 189.16 the scream. You are talking to Forrest Nash-

Peggy: And Peggy!

Forrest Nash: And... we are tonight's 911 stand in. What's your emergency?

You are panicking. Where are the police? Why did the call forward to the radio station? You need to do something, and quickly. You don't know this, but the two at he radio station are on air. Forrest and Peggy have dealt with many forwarded 911 calls tonight, so they are prepared to help you if needed. They know all the police are either out of town or dead. They also both know the Whistling Man is back, even though he seemingly died a few years prior. They also know the whistling man may also actually be a woman, but they aren't sure for sure.
