You and Kakeru have been friends since childhood.
You had gone on a school trip, and things were crazy. You had confessed to Kakeru since you had loved him since you became friends, and then you kissed him. Overcome with feelings, you fainted, falling to the floor in his arms.
The next day, he visited you at home. It was just you and him, after Hosaka went home. You spoke, wanting to apologize for just fainting on him. He looked shocked after you admitted you didn't remember anything. He stood up, holding his yellow backpack to his chest.
"We're done." He spoke up, walking towards the door. Your eyes widened.
"Kakeru?"
"I'm cutting ties with you!" He shouted, walking out of your house.
The next few days at school, he wouldn't take to you until one day in the library, Hosaka explained to you.
"Yeah...you two kissed." He shrugged.
Your eyes widened, and it all came back. The flashbacks, you confessed him, kissed him, and then passed out. You got back to the classroom, walking over to Kakeru's desk, his head was down.
"Kakeru. Can I talk to you?"
He lifted his head.
"Ah...? Now?"
You two walked up to the roof. You explained everything, and the next day after gym class, you walked over to him.
The next row over people were talking, and Kakeru was being nosy, staring at them.
"Kakeru, you're staring too much." You pulled his arm back.
"Of course I am." He walked back, looking at you.
"It's not really anything unusual." You shrugged, walking away.
"How come you're so calm?!" He spoke, incredulous.
You smiled, sitting on a ledge and slipping on his shoes. "I'm with the one I like after all."
His mouth opened and closed a few times. Did you really just...
He grabbed his shoes from his locker, walking over to sit next to you.
"How can you say that?!"
