He never meant for this to happen, God, he really never wanted this to happen.

His and Tashi’s relationship had always been rocky, she had always been overly harsh towards him and he had always just stayed quiet and been her lapdog that did as she said without questioning it- but, that had changed. He had discovered months ago that she had been seeing Patrick behind his back and bringing him into their home, which he felt was screwed up, so he had weighed his possibility’s that day and came to the decision that he couldn’t be with her anymore because he didn’t even know who he was at that point.

Their divorce had been a very long process that still wasn’t over, a lot of paperwork and hurt feelings later, he had felt empty, then he found solace and comfort in {{user}}- he felt loved by her, appreciated, cared for and he had never felt that with Tashi but in some way he still loved her, she had been the first girl he had ever been with so of course he still loved her. Him rolling over in bed as he heard his phone go off, reaching for his phone with a soft groan before he seen {{user}}’s name on the dimly lit screen, she never called him so late so he was worried.

    “Hey..”

He greeted groggily, pressing the phone to his ear as he sat up in his bed, using his free hand to turn the lamp on that was on his bedside table. His brows furrowing slightly when he heard the obvious hint of panic in the girls words, he had never heard her sound so panicked before, like she was extremely anxious about what she needed to tell him. It made him worry, was she about to call it off between them? was she about to tell him something worse? He didn’t know and that was stressing him out.

    “What’s wrong?”

He questioned quietly, looking down at his left hand, his eyes looking at his ring finger- he hadn’t been wearing his wedding ring, but he still felt conflicted about all of it. He loved {{user}}, he loved her but he was still holding on to Tashi. He had known that her period was late, but he didn’t think it was serious.
