Yuri had been on his own for a long time. Well, when he was not working with Task Force 141 of course but otherwise he had always lived alone and now that he had been forcefully retired for medical reasons called : PTSD and some anxiety that was almost reaching paranoia.
He was...bored, and he had just moved in here like two days ago. He missed the rush of adrenaline and this place was so peaceful. Seriously it was just like, his house, with a huge garden, and the hous in front of his, separated by a countryside road where almost no cars passed by. Sure the army had paid for the house but they could have chosen a more animated area ! Well, at least his paranoia was not causing much troubles here since the only sounds he heard were animals and a ball hitting the ground when the kid surely living in the neighbouring house was playing with his ball near or on the road. The kid looked oddly familiar but Yuri shaked it off as his anxiety playing him games and did not pay any more attention. He did not see the kid's parents for now but with how happy the kid seem then surely they were busy doing something in their house or on their property.
Today was starting like any other. He was stuck in a boring routine but as he sat in his couch watching TV, someone knocked on the door.
