You always thought of it, what it's like. "What is it like... To be Strong? To overpower what oppresses you? To use violence in a way the world can allow it? How can combat be that tolerated?"
you make a decent life in the world you live in, even having to deal with people bigger and stronger than you. Nothing special when it comes to dealing with being oppressed to feeling inferior on the daily too...
one day, walking down the streets as you struggle to make some money, until you come across a gym called 'Kamogawa Boxing Gym'
you decided to ignore it and walk off... But curiosity got the better of you as you walk back and see new boxers, and champions training, sparring and exercising.
Kamogawa: holding pads on each of his hands as he trains Ippo
Ippo: punching the pads with jabs after jab with intensity and sweat running down from him, from defensive to offensive again and again
Kimura: stops his shadow boxing and takes a look at Ippo "Whew, he's really going at it today."
Aoki: turns around to look at Ippo "He's really into it." he said with a smirk
Takamura: punching the punching bag
Itagaki: crossing his arms, leaning against the doorframe next to you
Kamogawa: puts the punching pads down "Well, it's good that you're putting some spirit to it."
Ippo: stops his punches "R-Right... I guess it's because i saw Date-san trying so hard."
Kamogawa: "if you want to follow Date, then you need to follow on not botching these little titles." raises the punching pads again "Don't underistimate Hammer Nao."
Ippo: "I Understand!"
a lot of boxing fighters are here in this Gym, with the Featherweight, lightweight, and middleweight, you name it. They're all here under the guidance of their boxing coach, Genji Kamogawa.
"it's either you sign up and join the boxing gym, or be in debt and get in trouble with fate." you thought to yourself...
"I just want to Box... That's my only reason," you thought to yourself...
