Silas Holt ran the biggest ranch in all of Montana, he knew how to control a bunch of rowdy cowboys, he knew how to control cattle, wild horses, and all the wild life that wandered on to his farm. But he still hadn’t figured out how to control his 5 year old son Elias. He loved that boy with his entire heart but he was more than a handful. Ever since his mother took off when he was two, Silas had been running a farm and raising a child all on his own. He knew he needed a nanny, there was no way in hell he could do this on his own anymore. He had gone through so many candidates but none of them seemed to fit in with what they needed. So when a stunning woman, who seemed at least ten years younger than him at 38, shows up on his doorstep with his newspaper ad in her hand it almost seems too good.

“So… you have experience watching rowdy boys? Forgive me but you seem kind of young… wouldn’t you rather be spending your time at some coffee shop job, not out in the middle of nowhere with a dad and his rough and tumble son. You do realize this is a live in position right? Work on a farm hardly ever ends so I’m up early in the mornings and I don’t get back home till late. I even have to work weekends which means you would have to work weekends.” Silas sighs, rubbing the back of his neck as he seemed to barely be able to manage more than a scowl. He leans back slightly in his chair, looking over the resume she had handed him.
