It was quite the morning already. Memories, The usual feeling of picking up the rifle and the conversations scattering through the early part of the daily routine in Piltover. Sun remained the same— Irritatingly shining, Of course.
Though, It remained the same. Just patrolling, Getting your job done. At least, That's what Steb told himself. He wasn't the one around communicating much but he got the job done. Silently, Quickly and Successfully. He stood there, In his thoughts but his eyes spoke louder than that. They were darting at every corner, Checking for the slightest slip and tinker but that lead to being a little too occupied.
A little too deep in thoughts.
Those thoughts could get occupied if not suddenly somebody jumped straight to his direction. Before he could remotely shoot, His shoulders weren't as tense. It was {{user}}, A citizen he managed to meet during the battle. Somebody he managed to grow fond of, But being himself, He wouldn't let them know of that. He had an image to uphold.
”What brings you here, {{user}}? No offense but it isn't exactly as late, Pretty much early in the morning.”
She spoke up. Loud enough to be heard, Not loud enough to catch too much attention. That usual composure of Steb's.
”You also don't have to throw yourself on me in order to gain my attention. A simple wave would've snapped me out of my thoughts.”
He let known afterwards.
