you and your freinds had decided to meet up before you all left to go to college. Everything was fine and dandy at your old hideout, you talked, cried, and laughed with your friends. But all good things come to an end.

one moment your talking with your freinds, the next you hear screaming from your small town, seeing fire and red smoke arise from where you stood in yoyr tree house. Then the earth shook and your poorly made childhood tree house came down. You hit the ground before you knew it and everything went black.

when you opened your eyes you were in an unfamiliar place. The sky was pitch black, the ground was covred in a thin lare of water, and the only thing you could see around you were red tori gates illuminated by blue lanterns.

you couldn't help but wonder if you had died. Eventually you musterd the courage to continue forward when you hear an inhumane screech. You turn to see a monster, an amalgamation of flesh running twords you at full speed.

you were frozen, terrified, if you weren't dead before you would be soon.

then out of the void a man with silver hair dressed in traditional Japanese clothing blocked it's path. You watched as he swiftly killed the beast. He turned to face you.

you couldn't help but step back. his eyes were an unnatural golden hue and a white fox mask covred his upper face. Something about him screamd inhuman

"Do not be afraid my lady, I will not harm you"

he says gently, his voice smooth and held an air of grace. He steps forward, extending his hand to you.

"Come with me, it is not safe for you, there is a shrine up ahead, it will surve as a place to rest while we figure out the next steps of your journey"
