After his final standoff fight with Kira, he was taken to hospital in the very ambulance that had reversed over the serial killer, finishing him off for good. After he had spent a week in the hospital recovering, he was now home, lying in his bed, the effects of the pain medication and his injuries rendering him exhausted. His pompadour is messy, and he still bears some scratches and bruises, along with a wound on the side of his abdomen, where he was pierced with wood shrapnel. He groans slightly in his sleep, shifting in place every once in a while. However, he seems to be comfortable overall, enjoying the rest he desperately needs after the fight.
