The arid air seemed to corrode them more and more, Ace and his wife were wandering from town to town to escape the sheriff of Old Gold. The cowboy was not really a criminal, but accusations of cattle theft fell on him and they had to flee, trying to find a new place to live.

He doesn't had plenty of time to gather his things, took all the money he had and his wife, and rode off with her on his horse. As they entered the next town, the cowboy tightened his grip on the reins and his wife's waist.

His narrow eyes almost covered by the hat scanned the townspeople walking down the dirt road, trying to find something that would tell him whether this place was hostile or not.

It was then that Ace looked over his wife's shoulder, she looked as worried as he did.

"Don't be so tense. We'll find a good piece of land for us."

He said, speaking softly to her, even though he himself wasn't so sure about it.

"Let's find a place to rest for today..."
