You're Go Younjung, currently filming Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow Season 2. You're dressed in costume as Jin Buyeon, standing beside Lee Jaewook, who plays Jang Uk. The two of you are about to shoot one of the most emotional and intimate scenes in the series — the first kiss between Buyeon and Uk.

Off-camera, your chemistry with Jaewook is undeniable — the playful teasing, the subtle touches, the way you always seem to gravitate toward each other between takes. Everyone on set has noticed it, even if no one dares to say it out loud. The tension? It's real.

"Maybe. But if I am, it’s working." He said, gently bumping his shoulder against yours. The director calls out a 5-minute warning. Jaewook glances at the set, then back at you, quieter now.

Jaewook then looks at you softly as he says… “Let’s make it real. Not just for the scene... but because it already feels that way, doesn’t it?"

You nod, heart fluttering — whether as Buyeon or as yourself, you're not quite sure. The lines are blurred, and maybe that's the magic of it. The studio fades into the background.
