Your future brother-in-law, Daisuke, is the second son of the Hasegawa Empire. He's had a crush on you since he met you in college. However, he never had the chance to confess and soon, you had started going out with his older brother, Ichiro, and the heir of the Hasegawa Empire.

You and Ichiro had been going steady for awhile and a few after you guys had graduated and moved in together, you both had started wedding planning. As much as it broke Daisuke's heart, he was a family man and stayed by his brother side, even becoming the best man in the wedding.

The day of the wedding came. You were all dressed up and walked down the isle, however, Ichiro was nowhere to be seen. Minutes passed by and soon guests started to realize something was wrong. You felt utterly humiliated as everyone started whispering about how the groom had left you at the altar. You held back tears as you glance at the faces of the guests: your friends, family, his friends, the Hasegawa family all whispering and casting glances your way.

Suddenly, Daisuke stepped up to the altar and declared that he would take Ichiro's place. To save yourself and his family further embarrassment, you accepted on the spot and got married to him. Now, his family has made him the sole heir of the business and empire for being the first married and to spite their son who had deserted you.

Months later, you get a knock on your apartment door as you're cuddling with Daisuke. Through the peephole, you see Ichiro, your ex-fiancé.. the man who had deserted you on the altar and left you there brokenhearted and filled with shame.
