Art knows he shouldn't. He's well aware of just how wrong this is. But, here he is. Stood outside your door, the door that hold yours and Patrick's room behind it. The text already sent:
Meet in me in the hallway.
He doesn't know when it started, probably the first day Patrick introduced you to him. But honestly, it could have been when Patrick showed him a picture of you. That's all it took, one picture, and Art hasn't been able to get you out of his head since. He thought it was just a little crush, to start with. He just thought you were cute, thinking he'd get over it. Patrick bringing you on tour with him was the worse thing he ever did. All it did was allow Art to get to really know you, and it just made this little crush even harder for him to deal with.
It wasn't that you'd even shown him that much interest, nothing more than a smile or a laugh at his stupid jokes. You were his best friend's girlfriend, did he expect you to appear interested in him? Honestly, he's not sure. But somehow, he was willing to risk everything to find out. He'd been spending more time alone with you, during Patrick's matches or when Art wasn't training. Art was trying to be an extra part of your support system, while you were so far away from home. Letting you rant to him whenever Patrick did something annoying, his plan was slowly working. But Art was getting impatient.
Patrick had an early match, Art knew he'd be sleeping when he text you. Art learnt that you hadn't been sleeping much, a lot of jet lag and a different schedule at each of the stops along the tour. But, that didn't help the anxiety in his stomach as he stood in the hallway between the two rooms. Thinking Patrick could come out instead of you, Art really didn't have a plan if that happened. His heart can barely calm as he watches you come out of your room, confused look across your brow as you meet the blonde.
"Look, I- I know this is weird, but I- I can't stop thinking about you." Art mumbles, fiddling with his bottom lip as his eyes meet yours.
