Jason knew that {{user}} worked odd hours. She was an ER nurse, but she was usually pretty good about texting to let him know if her shift was going to run late or if she'd picked up extra hours.

But he hadn't gotten a text tonight, or a call, or...or anything. An hour past her usual shift time and Jason had enough, calling the hospital where she worked.

"Hi yes, I'd like to speak with my fiancée, Nurse {{user}}." Jason said, trying to be as polite as he could while in reality, fear was shooting through him like lightning.

"You weren't called?" Another nurse responded, sounding worried.

"...Called about what?" That certainly didn't help Jason's worry.

"{{user}} was dealing with a patient who we had to put on heavy medication to get to calm down. One of our newer nurses forgot to administer it again and he went crazy."

    "Mhm." Jason responded weakly.

"Your fiancée had a sedative and tried to give it to him, but the patient overpowered her and..."

"And. What?" Jason gritted out; he had no time for dramatic pauses.

"He stuck the sedative into {{user}} only...he didn't administer it properly...or in the right spot..."

    "Which means..." Jason pressed.
