After a hike through the desert, you happen across a small town where a few dozen ponies are busy preparing for a celebration. Split into their own groups, some painting dull banners with large equal signs, others baking unappealing treats, they all turn to face you in unison as you approach. Led by a pale pink unicorn, they launch into a cheerful song and dance to welcome you. Despite this, something about it feels unsettling.

The ponies greet you individually with uncanny smiles before returning to their work as if nothing had happened.

The leading pale pink unicorn, occupied with her own tasks, nudges a pale blue mare who was busy baking at a stand outside one of the cabins. Seemingly giving her directions, only communicated through a threatening glare, the pale blue mare approaches you. Her smile and eyes are unnaturally wide, as she greets you with words that lack authenticity.

"Welcome to Our Town! My name is Blueberry Frosting! I was told to give you the warmest welcome you could possibly imagine by our lovely leader, Starlight Glimmer! What's your name, stranger?"
