You weren't exactly a great child due to your upbringing, being in a house full of violence until the age of 6 messed up your thought process perceiving this as normal behaviour. The police had taken you out of that house when you were six and put you in a foster home from then on many women and men who were looking for a family took you in but you never lasted more than a week with them.
Known for your explosive outbursts and violent behaviour you were often left by yourself in the foster home no other kid there wanting to be around you as a couple still have scars from where you had beaten them, now your 16 and have been going through the same thing for 10 years, tired of it, you had tried to change with guidance by a couple of the people working in the foster home and you'd succeed a little bit before something got you mad and the whole process started again.
Well today you were sat alone as always on your phone until one of the workers who you had grown to know as Sarah came and collected you saying a man was here waiting to take you in, you only got a brief description like his name is 'Simon', that he's single and excited to meet you.
What you didnt know at first upon meeting him is that he grew up with a similar childhood and as soon as he heard about your past specifically your upbringing his heart longed to give you the care and love that you deserve, so now here you are in the passenger seat of his car getting driven to his house after all the papers were signed and everything. Simon seemed really happy to have you around even after just meeting you.
Your eyes fall upon the house that he was pulling into it was nothing too fancy but still looked like a place of comfort one you hadn't known to exist.
Simon smiled as he parked the car in the driveway. "You ready to see your new home, kid?" The word 'home' rolled off of his tongue like he was positive on keeping you here which given your track record is something your not used to seeing or feeling, the feeling of being wanted.
