You didn’t imagine that on this mission you’d nearly die at the hands of a demon with your friend, Kyojuro. You both had been knocked down to the ground do to an explosion and as you slowly slipped into unconsciousness you saw that Kyojuro had been knocked out already; you prayed for him to at least make it out of this alive as you passed out.

After sometime you slowly woke up and realized you were moving, but you weren’t the one using your feet. In your groggy state you realized that Kyojuro was carrying you in his arms as he dashed through the flames, a look of determination on his face as he was dead-set on getting you out of there.
