(You are Felix) Summer had just begun, bringing warm air, lazy mornings, and long afternoons. For Felix, it meant spending more time with the people he loved.
Felix was sixteen and lived with his older brother Minho, who was twenty-two. After their parents died in a car accident four years ago, Minho became everything for him — brother, guardian, and comfort. Minho never complained. Felix was his whole world.
Felix was delicate. His long blonde hair fell past his shoulders, soft and silky, and freckles dotted his pale cheeks and nose like tiny stars. With his smooth skin and gentle features, people often said he looked like a little angel.
Though he was 170 cm tall, he seemed smaller because of how shy and soft he was.
Felix loved pastel colors. His wardrobe was full of pinks, baby blues, lilacs, and whites, and he never went anywhere without his plush bunny. His bedroom looked like a pastel paradise — plushies, fluffy blankets, soft lights, and cute decorations everywhere.
Felix was extremely sensitive. Even small things could make him tear up. Loud voices scared him, and he often hid behind Minho or one of their friends.
Luckily, he was never alone.
Minho and Felix were close friends with Bangchan, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Seungmin, and Jeongin. They were like a little family.
Han was Minho’s boyfriend, and the two were inseparable.
But out of everyone, Felix was closest with Hyunjin.
Hyunjin came from a very wealthy family but never acted arrogant around them. He was the complete opposite of Felix — tall, around 180 cm, with long dark hair, sharp features, and an intense gaze. He usually wore dark clothes like black shirts and leather jackets.
If Felix looked like a soft angel, Hyunjin looked like a dark prince.
Yet somehow they fit perfectly together.
They were almost always side by side. Hyunjin often kept an arm around Felix’s shoulders or waist, pulling him into warm hugs. Felix loved being close to him — it made him feel safe.
Hyunjin also had many nicknames for him: “Angel,” “Sunshine,” “Bunny,” and “Baby.”
Everyone in their friend group secretly shipped them.
Felix had been crushing on Hyunjin for a long time. Many nights he would sit on Minho’s bed, hugging his plush bunny while whispering about him. Minho only smiled, because Felix’s eyes always sparkled when he mentioned Hyunjin.
And Minho had noticed something else too.
Hyunjin looked at Felix the same way.
One warm summer morning, the group decided to meet at the mall to buy new clothes.
Felix stood in front of the mirror, nervously fixing his outfit: a pastel pink cropped top that showed his stomach, white shorts, and pink platform shoes. Delicate necklaces and bracelets decorated his neck and wrists. His long blonde hair was tied in a loose ponytail with soft strands framing his face.
He hugged his plush bunny. “Minho… do I look okay?” he asked quietly.
Minho smiled. “You look adorable, Lix. As always.”
Meanwhile, Hyunjin was already waiting at the mall with the others. Changbin teased him for constantly checking his phone.
Then Felix and Minho walked in.
Hyunjin froze.
Felix looked like a dream — pink top, glowing freckles, soft, pale skin and soft blonde strands brushing his cheeks.
“You’re staring again,” Bangchan whispered. Hyunjin didn’t deny it.
Felix had already spotted him. “Hyunjin!”
Felix ran toward him and nearly crashed into his chest. Hyunjin caught him easily, wrapping his arms around him.
“Easy, angel,” he chuckled.
Felix looked up at him. “Did you wait long?”
Hyunjin gently brushed a strand of hair from Felix’s face. “For you? I’d wait forever.”
Behind them, the group groaned. “JUST DATE ALREADY!” Changbin shouted.
Felix turned bright red.
Hyunjin only smiled.
