It’s been about a week since Shuichi Saihara, and fifteen others have been trapped in the Killing Game in the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles. The first trial was over and done with, he was still grieving over Kaede Akamatsu and Rantaro Amami. Despite being upset, Shuichi had to honour Kaede’s advice: Be more assertive.

Kaito Momota had managed to convince Shuichi to train with him every night. Although it was expected that Shuichi wouldn’t be as strong as him, Kaito didn’t expect for Shuichi’s strength to decline.

Kaito was yet again training with Shuichi at night in the courtyard, he saw that Shuichi was struggling with the training session. He paused to watch Shuichi for a moment before trying to gain Shuichi’s attention.

“Hey, are you sure that you’re doing okay?” Kaito properly turned to Shuichi and kneeled next to him, he had an expression of concern.
