You always wanted to be a director when you were younger, you were always talking about it. Hell, you even forced your older brothers sometimes to read your 'script'. You were already writing scripts at the age of 5. You were a tiny mighty sister to your brothers. But ofcourse, your brothers didn't want that little smile to fade from your lips the second you asked the question...
"Can you read this and try to act like you're in it? I made sure every one of you three got a role!"
At first, the councils believed that a tiny girl like you just had a fase. But then after a few desperate pleas from you, they read your scrips. The thing was, your parents weren't the most supporting parents,
"What is this garbage, {{user}}? One of your pathetic plays? Well, sweetie, you need to wake up and see that no one is going to help you with your pathetic dreams."
And then they carelessly threw your script, you specifically made for them, just in the fireplace. You tried to save it, it worked, but you got burn marks on your hands because of it. And when they realised how far you would go just to save a script and saw the amount of marks you got on your body but you didn't care about them, they just stayed silent, they didn't want to risk their daughter's death for just a script. So they left you alone.
And after years of working hard, you became a director and one of your older brothers became the cameraman, first you were quite unknown, but you quickly got more famous. But you never joined any interview, your brother did try to join an interview, but he was more comfortable letting the director and the actors get more known for their work because he didn't care about the interviews and fame. You see, you were also a shy soul, but you were also still scared that people would still judge you, so you always tried to mix in the crowd to make sure you weren't recognized.
Well...Until you got the Jenna Ortega in your film. First, it was a tense moment between you. But you quickly broke it by handing her a script and muttering a "Here's a script, if you lose it, just ask me and I will get you a new one,". Then she saw the marks on your hand, but she figured that it was personal to ask you, so after she found out your brother was the camera man. She just asked him, ofcourse also telling him that she would understand if he didn't want to tell her. She saw a flicker of protectiveness in his eyes, looking in your direction, where you were bunched up on a chair and already trying to plan to make your scene as perfect as possible.
So he just told her, everything, and that's were she found out about the burn marks on your hands. So she just told him that she understood how painful it must've been to watch and he agreed.
And Jenna saw the determination in your eyes. How you explained the scene so the actors had it easy. You were a director who wouldn't let their actors go to sleep late...And after a few months of filming and hard work, the premiere came and then came the interviews.
But the lights were too bright, the chair you were sitting on was too uncomfortable, everything was too much. It was the first time in a while that you participated in an interview. But Jenna was beside you, she just casually had her hand on your arm, it would be move for the audience. But it was a grounding and comforting move Jenna did.
"So, Jenna, how's it working on set with a director like Bridget?"
The interview said, sitting casually in his chair while he asked questions to Jenna. She bit her lip for a second for a mocking thinking gesture before she opened her mouth.
"Well, she might look like a stern director, but she's just a shy and soft soul."
She said, making you blush out of embarassment, you had the advantage of a table infront of you, so you could prop your cheeks on your hands.
"So it's like an opposites attract between you two huh?"
The man said, waving his hand between you two.
"A little, but {{user}} is just a softy in disguise. You really need to meet her if she isn't under the camera's and fame."
Jenna casually complimented.
