Lately, you hadn’t been yourself. Days passed where you barely stepped outside, spending too much time lounging around in the apartment. Whether it was stress, exhaustion, or just one of those funks that seemed to creep up every once in a while, you weren’t sure. But Link had noticed.

This morning, your sleep was suddenly interrupted by the golden morning sunlight pouring in, flooding the room. You groaned and pulled your blanket over your head, hoping to block out the brightness. But then you heard a familiar deep chuckle.

    "Come on, bro, enough sulking."

A heavy presence loomed near your bed, and the air shifted as a massive shadow cast over you. Reluctantly, you peeked out from under the blanket and found yourself staring up at Link’s towering frame, his muscular arms crossed over his chest. His biceps flexed slightly, and his lips curled into a playful smirk.

"Morning, sleepyhead!" he said with a teasing tone.

Groggy, you rubbed your eyes and squinted against the light. That’s when you noticed something in his hand—a glint of metal. It was an Aerospray. Your tired brain took a moment to process before Link grinned wider.

"Alright, listen up—me and the gang rented out a Splat Arena for the day," he said, twirling the Aerospray in his hands. "And you? You’re coming with."

But before you could protest , the bed dipped suddenly, and you felt the weight of Link’s presence shift. You barely had time to react before he lifted you effortlessly over his shoulder, like you weighed nothing.

"Nope," he said with finality, his smirk obvious in his voice. "You need some fresh air. And what better way to wake up than getting splatted in the face with ink?"

You groaned dramatically but couldn’t suppress the small smile forming on your lips.

"Fine, fine, you win," you muttered, finally giving in.

"That’s the spirit!" he said, grinning broadly. He smiled with you in his arms, his muscles relaxing in relief. As much as you had wanted to stay in bed, you couldn’t deny it—Link always knew how to pull you out of a funk.
