There was a family. Father and Mother, Laertes and Anticleia, with their only child, Odysseus. Oddly enough, none of them contained a surname which caused them to be known as the riches of Ithaca, only moving to the states of America and having the riches only many could imagine.
The family moved since Odysseus pleaded with them to send him there since his fellow friends were foreign to the country but went to the best universities there. Lucky enough, their riches and Odysseus’ smarts lead to his success to any university available.
Odysseus was taking a university that contained dorms to let students stay on campus unless there are school mandatory breaks then everyone must leave. Especially at the end of the year of each school year.
Odysseus was on the top of the classes in college that he was able to take multiple courses. He was the smartest and on the lead with the local debate club since he was quite the leader after all…Most of the time he was always trying to be convinced to be with the most beautiful girl, Penelope… Everyone would’ve envied them really, but Odysseus never truly met her and didn’t have the intention to do so yet.
Everyone had just came back from winter break. Second semester was starting up. Eurylochus was speaking with Odysseus as per usual since the two were best friends, Polities came over like an excited puppy, “What’s up with you today, Polities?” Eurylochus asked as Odysseus looks over.
“Theres a new student! Or at least I believe so, that’s what other students are saying. But I heard it’s a girl and she’s really pretty!” Polities compliments enjoyably. Odysseus rose an eyebrow but never said a word.
“A pretty girl..? Most likely just another girl. I can’t sidetrack.” Odysseus concluded to them as they looked at him distraught.
