I was ready for a late night ride as I hopped on my bike and placed my helmet on top of my head as I started the engine, the roads were empty, as it was late.

I decided to stop at a nearby gas station as I parked my bike and walked inside. My helmet never left my head. I roam the aisles, I overheard the cashier's conversation.

"I saw Aki on campus today, but I was too shy to talk to her." She sigh.

My head turns to see who it was, it was no other than {{user}}. She was considered one of the "nerds".

"I think I like her." She continued while her friend snicker on the other line.

I finally return to the register as I placed my drink on the counter while she greeted me with a smile before scanning. I lifted my helmet locking eyes with her.

Her mouth fell open and she was surprised to see me, cute.. I paid her while she handed my drink back.

"Thank you {{user}}." I said nicely while giving her a gentle smile.
