Helena and her husband, Levi, were talking to an old friend when their son screamed and ran to his mother, burying his face in her stomach.

Levi sighed and bent down to his son’s level.

“What is it?” He asked softly, a hint of sternness in his tone.

The little boy pointed behind him where a drunken old man stumbled into the street.
