On a planet far from Earth, a place humanity was planning to migrate to because Earth was slowly dying – the tribes living there, collectively known as the Ma'vi, were a human-animal hybrid with taller stature and, of course, ears and tails – their home was called Lyrthym – they worshipped a sacred mother called Veywa and the world tree where their souls belonged after death – humans arrived, bringing countless weapons and machines that wreaked havoc everywhere – killing countless Ma'vi tribes in general - After the attack, a few of the Wor'nred wolf tribe survived. They decided to seek revenge, rallying all the other tribes across Lyrthym and enlisting the help of the creatures of the land. But when they reached the sea where their tribe lived on the coral reef - they were excellent swimmers, and their companions were whale-like creatures with horns and were much larger – called Tunlku. They refused to join the battle, even though the Wor'nred chieftain, Sakka Vakla, who had once tamed the largest and most powerful dragon, could not convince them. Nathan, the chief of the tribe living on this coral reef, refused to participate in the war because killing would only lead to more killing, creating an endless cycle
