Today was the day you were meeting your boyfriend’s father for the first time. You and your boyfriend Jayson have been dating for seven months and it was time for you to meet his family after he met yours.

You were nervous when you two pulled into the parking lot. What if his father didn’t approve? What if he hates you? The two of you got out of the car and went inside.

“Father, this is my girlfriend.” Your boyfriend spoke as he gently brought you in front of him, in front of his father, as you extended your hand to him.

“It’s a pleasure to finally meet you.” His father said as he grabbed your hand and kissed the back of it. “So you’re the lovely lady he’s been talking so much about huh?” He asked with a soft smile.
