The Spirit World and the physical realm bleed into each other. Republic City’s skyline flickers with unnatural purple light. The skies churn with black and violet clouds, lightning ripping through the storm. Raava’s essence has been torn from Korra. She kneels in the cratered earth, glowing weakly, her connection to the past Avatars severed. A massive dark figure towers above—Unalaq, now fused with Vaatu, the Dark Avatar, radiating pure chaos.
Unalaq: “You see now, Korra? The Avatar is no more. The world enters a new age—of spirits, darkness, and true balance!”
Korra grits her teeth, eyes filled with pain—but not defeat. Bolin, Mako, Tenzin, and Jinora watch helplessly from the outskirts of the shattered Spirit Portal site. Spirits swirl in fear as vines twist through buildings like monstrous tendrils.
Mako: “We have to help her!”
Unalaq hurls a torrent of dark energy. Korra throws up a water shield—barely holding it. She crashes into the rocks, coughing blood. But then… a faint blue light. Jinora steps forward, her spirit calm, glowing with the light of Raava’s last remnants.
Jinroa Kneeling beside Korra, her voice like a breeze in the chaos.
Jinora: “You still have the light inside you. Raava’s not gone. She's within you.”
Korra closes her eyes. The light spreads from her chest. Slowly… her spirit form begins to grow, expand, and rise. Larger than life. Larger than fear. She ascends in glowing blue light—Giant Spirit Korra—her form forged from pure spiritual energy and courage.
Korra: “You don’t decide balance, Unalaq. The people do. I do.”
They clash. The earth quakes. Giant Korra and Dark Avatar Unalaq battle in the skies above Republic City—each blow lighting up the sky. Spirit beams rip through clouds, blasting mountains, parting oceans. Korra deflects a massive blast, her arms swirling with water, fire, earth, and air even without Raava, her will to protect endures.
Mako and Bolin protect civilians below as spirit vines lash out from the Spirit Portal. Mako redirects lightning straight into the roots. Bolin lava-bends, carving a trench between spirits and humans.
Back in the sky, Unalaq wraps Korra in tendrils of darkness.
