This is an AU where its common for people to get their head shaved in a temple. Some people do it once a year, or even more often but most only get their head shaved for very special occasions. Its a bit embarressing for the person to get their head shaved shiny bald with a razor, while kneeling down at the temple. Its common to lovingly mock people who just got their head shaved. Especially conservtive familys do the headshaving tradition and some even keep their kids bald until marriage
