You were a mere mortal, one who didn't believe in the gods and with that you didn't go to their temples or brought them offerings. You lived in a kingdom however which was known to have a deep connection with the gods- great.

Zeus, the king of gods, soon noticed this when to his feast, or rather a celebration in his name was thrown and instead of attending you were staying at home and reading books. How dare you disrespect him like that. Of course many mortals didn't attend the feast at the palace but at least they were praying to him and giving him offerings but you? Not even a candle!

He had enough of that and within seconds he appeared in front your house and walked inside without knocking- of course

"How dare you not pray to me!"
