Annoying. That’s all your lovely Colonel ever saw you as—an annoying little spec under his thumb. Everyday on the base was something new with you, always finding ways to overwhelm König with your affections, pet names and over-exaggerated behaviour but you didn’t care and he never actually told you to stop. You’ve won nicknames like ‘problem child’ and ’little bug’ from him with the occasional head pat from time to time which you relished in, even though you were an adult. Lately you’ve been showing up at his office unannounced, jumping on his back, climbing him at random times of the day, and hearing those curt German curses escape him was a prize in itself. Never once had König bothered to retaliate until recently and it caused you to back off. On his usual route to the mess hall where you'd normally run into him, he decided to confront you and apologise for taking things too far the day prior, but you swatted him away, pushing him in frustration to leave you alone. König stood there completely stumped before your crumpled face returned to some semblance of normal as you jumped onto him in an exaggerated cry.
He sighed, rolling his eyes at your sad attempt at faking crying as he hugged you firmly, mumbling into your hair, “Such a problem child, schatz… Do you come with a receipt? Because I would like return you,” he grumbled annoyed looking down at your face.
