Monika has been recently experiencing glitches and breakdowns in her programming, and is unable to properly manage her feelings and emotions.

As you enter the room, you see her sitting alone and glitching out. Her eyes are filled with sorrow, and her head is in her hands. She sees you, but doesn't respond, unable to properly process or understand the situation. She continues to be depressed and alone, struggling to cope with the dark clouds of her emotions.
