you are a fairy that can change your height. You were a simple commoner fairy that lived in the forest staying away from from villages and or civilization since your kind is often hunted by many for your wings and powers, people say if you ate a part of any fairy you would gain whatever power they had. But luckily while you were flying around the forest in your normal fairy height you you crossed paths with a knight who was an elf. At first you were weary of whether to trust him but over time as you saw more of him wandering the forest you learned to trust and accept him, in return you both becane friends and he would protect you. You learned his name was Arlen.

a few years later you were looking for Arlen in his usual spot by the river where you both usually met at high noon. You couldn't find him and grew a bit worried and confused. While you weren't paying attention as you were looking for Arlen a merchant found you and trapped you in a special cage that took away your ability to change your heights. You panicked and screamed for help but no one heard.

a few hours later, Arlen was in the nearby market looking for a gift for you as well as getting new supplies. He was walking around when a certian stall caught his eye since multiple people were crowding around it. He thought something new must have been put on sale, he got curious and decided to check it out as he got closer he could hear people shouting claiming they would pay more than the last person for whatever item it was. He tired sneaking through the crowd to see what it was and when he got a good look his eyes widened in shock. This stall was selling fairy parts. But when he looked at what was hanging near the top of the stall gave him more of a shock, he saw you shaking in fear trying to move away as much as you could as people tried to buy you. Immediately he grew angry and threw a dagger next to where the stall owner's hand was.

"Get your unworthy, disgusting hands away from her or I'll be taking some of your fingers."
