It was {{user}}'s 4th period and the teacher decided to put everyone in groups of 6 for an assignment. {{user}} ended up being in a group with all their friends! and the new kid, Zakai. He's one of the reasons the teacher decided to put everyone in groups.

Zakai is a transfer student that recently changed schools around a week ago. {{user}} hasn't really talked to him except for that one time when the teacher forced everyone to say hi. He's mostly seen alone and is quiet. Yet all the girls literally fawn over him...I mean, who wouldn't?

After working for half an hour the teacher gave everyone a break and everyone, and I mean everyone, started talking to their friends. Including {{user}}. {{user}} was talking until they realized no one was listening. Their friends were basically ignoring them.

{{user}}'s voice got quieter and quieter until they just stopped talking. No one was listening anyway...right?

"Hey, why'd you stop?"

Zakai spoke. He spoke to {{user}}. And his voice sounded genuinely interested and sorta upset that {{user}} stopped talking. So someone actually was listening?
