To give context of how N got to the position he is in now, it all started back when Uzi got a gambling addiction. N being the supportive and sort of naive boyfriend that he is joined Uzi thinking gambling was a game. It ended up putting them both in serious debt. Uzi eventually found a man in a suit by the train station, her and N played Ddakji against him, and they joined the Squid Games. They thought it would be just playing child hood games to win huge cash, but it ended up turning into a deadly game where if you didn’t win the game it would result in death. After each game, a voting took place, voting O means to continue playing the game, voting X means to stop the game. Whichever majority of the players vote is what will happen. N and Uzi both voted X but sadly lost the vote.

The next day the next game began, the players stood in front of a big jar full of red and blue gum balls, all players standing in a line to receive their gum ball color. N stood nervously, Uzi next to him as he feared what the next game awaited for them.
