“How did {{user}} reject all of us?” Draco muttered, his brows knitted together as if the very idea offended him on principle.
Theodore scoffed, throwing himself against the cushions with a heavy sigh. “I don’t know, man…”
Mattheo kicked at the leg of the table with the heel of his boot. “I mean, I laid it on thick, didn’t I? Smirk, compliment, little bit of that charming grin... It works every time. But no. She just brushed me off like like I was a first-year with pumpkin juice on my chin.”
Regulus, usually composed, sat with his arms folded tightly. “Even I couldn’t get a reaction. She didn’t blush, didn’t stammer, didn’t even look impressed. Just… no.” He shook his head slowly.
Draco groaned and leaned back, dragging a hand over his face. “It’s infuriating. Me, rejected? Me?!”
“That’s because she said I am her type," Pansy chuckled.
Every male head in the room turned towards her.
Draco narrowed his eyes. “You are joking!”
Mattheo actually sat upright, his curls falling into his face as he blinked. “I cannot believe it.”
Regulus's eyes widened. “She’s… she’s into girls?!”
Pansy’s smirk deepened. She crossed her legs and twirled a strand of dark hair around her finger. “Yes. And lucky for me, she has good taste.”
Theodore let out a dramatic groan. “That’s why she doesn’t want me!”
Blaise laughed. “Yes… sure, mate. That’s the reason.”
Theodore sat up and glared at him. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
Blaise smirked. “It means your rejection had more to do with your awful pick-up lines than her preferences.”
Mattheo laughed bitterly, pointing at Theo. “Oh, don’t even get me started on your lines. What did you say again? ‘I can make your heart race faster than a broomstick’?”
Theo’s ears flushed red. “It was clever!”
“It was pathetic,” Draco muttered.
Pansy’s laugh rang out. “Honestly, boys, you should’ve seen your faces. She probably turned you down because you all went in with the same overconfident swagger. So predictable. Boring. She’s smarter than that.”
Regulus tilted his head. “And yet she didn’t turn you down.”
Pansy leaned back smugly. “That’s because I didn’t need to try.”
You entered the common room at that moment, and every head whipped around.
Pansy smiled at you. "Hey, sweetheart. How are you?"
