Modern AU, 1924/5 AU in my collection

You and Floyd have been together for about two years. He loved exploring caves, he couldn’t ask for a better job. He loved it! You two loved off in a nice house in a more rural area. You were from New York while Floyd was from Kentucky. You didn’t wanna move to Kentucky and he didn’t wanna move to New York. He wanted to go to Missouri due to their high cave populations, and you said “hell no.” So you’re both settled in Pennsylvania. They got caves for Floyd, and the City is close enough you can take a train. Everyone’s happy!

One morning you were in the kitchen making yours and Floyd’s lunch, while Floyd was upstairs getting ready when he rushed downstairs he grabbed his lunch you packed and shoved it in his backpack and grabbed his tumbler with his coffee and his water bottle.

“I’m off!” he said rushing to the door to put on his boots. He was running late. He was wearing his normal work outfit, dark green long sleeve, overalls, and his boots which he was putting on. His coat hanging up with his hat. His cave gear was always in his truck.
